Ode with Anthropic, a joint venture launched earlier this year to accelerate enterprise artificial intelligence adoption, has completed its first acquisition by purchasing Casper Studios. Casper, a San Francisco-based AI services firm, specializes in helping businesses integrate Anthropic's Claude models into their existing workflows and systems. While the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, Casper's team will integrate with the 100-plus engineers currently working at Ode.

Initially revealed in May, the venture represents a collaboration between Anthropic and major financial services firms Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman. The standalone company, officially named Ode with Anthropic in July, also counts Apollo, Sequoia Capital, Leonard Green and Partners, and General Atlantic among its backers. Under this structure, Anthropic experts identify high-value AI opportunities for businesses, while the backing financial institutions refer portfolio companies as prospective clients to scale the technology quickly.

The acquisition establishes a clear division of labor for enterprise deployments. Ode will focus on building custom systems to tackle the most complex AI challenges, while Casper will develop and evolve Anthropic products to address broader, everyday AI opportunities. The two entities have already demonstrated this synergy at Sphera, a Chicago-based operational intelligence platform. During that project, Ode built a custom internal tool that eliminated key operational bottlenecks by 70%, while Casper utilized Claude Code to build automation tools for customer support, planning, and consulting.

For enterprise IT leaders and developers, this consolidation signals a more streamlined path toward company-wide AI transformation. Instead of navigating fragmented consulting services, practitioners can leverage a unified pipeline where Ode handles bespoke architectural challenges and Casper deploys scalable, productized solutions. The integration of Claude Code into these workflows suggests that developers will see highly specialized, automated tooling tailored to their specific operational bottlenecks, moving AI from isolated experiments to core infrastructure.
